The Queen has died. So I took some time to remember the 1970s visit she made to my province, when my family drove north to Timaru, saw her, and memorably, the sleek Royal Yacht Britannia,
I also was pleased with some continued weight loss, only small, but at least it has been consistent. I then enjoyed a morning snapping flowers and tui in the botannical gardens, and relaxed with a coffee in a café overlooking the city and harbour, with a very delicious orange almond cake.
