I love a road trip. Anywhere in the world, but of course I love them in NZ too. Perhaps it is because a road trip to me is rarely more than 6 or 7 hours driving, and usually much less. So our trip to a wine region only took about 4 1/2 hours driving, through lovely spring scenery – blossoms, daffodils, and a spring hail storm! It was all a delight – the hail storm less so – especially as we have largely hibernated at home this year.
