I always used to do a huge housecleaning whenever my mother was coming to visit us… dh said, “Why are you so afraid of your mother?” I said, “I’m not afraid of her (and after all, she’s seen my sister’s house, anything would look clean after that! lol)… but if you’re not going to clean the house when your mother is coming, when IS it going to get done??” 😉
