I mentioned that a week or so ago my sister visited. The one with the avocado orchard. I didn’t expect a delivery of avocados, and so it was a delight when she pulled them out of her bag. They were all unripe, so they’ve gone into the fridge, and I pull an avocado out every few days to ripen. Today the first was ripe and ready to eat. So it was, of course, going to be avocado and marmite toast. On my homemade seed and nut bread. It is delicious. And a delight after so long!
