Over the last few years, I have inherited some jewellery from an aunt of my husband’s, and from my mother-in-law. None of it is particularly valuable, but it’s not worthless either, and of course has considerable sentimental value. And I saw the potential in the pieces (a ring, pearls, etc). So a few weeks ago I visited a jeweller who made me a ring for an anniversary some years ago, and who does a lot of redesigning of older jewellery. Today was the day to pick up some repaired jewellery, and to look at his suggested designs. How exciting! Now I just have to make some decisions.
