Organised our insurance for our trip next year, as we are starting to pay for things! Travel insurance is so important – it covers medical costs, flight delays, and gives us peace of mind as we start racking up the bills. (On the positive side, paying now means we don’t have to pay then. Most of our trip will be paid off before we leave!) We both have pre-existing conditions, but as they are well managed, we simply declare them, pay a little extra, and we’re fully covered. Previously I’ve done it over the phone, answering medical questions specific to each of our conditions. Now, it’s all done online, and was so easy. It’s always a relief to have that policy number at the ready.
