Woo hoo! After weeks of confusion and stress, facing slow communication and other difficulties with opposite time zones, and credit card security issues, requiring international transfers of funds, I was giving up hope! Every time I tried something new to process a payment, the price went up, which just added to the stress. But thanks to a helpful person on the other end of the email, we locked in an earlier price (still not the cheapest), and got a booking without payment. Today we finally got a) confirmation the airline had finally received our payment, and b) they issued tickets. What a relief! I’ve never had such an issue buying tickets online, and over the last 20 years, I’ve bought a lot of tickets online, including regional and domestic services in Turkey, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and Jordan and the Middle East. It was for a critical flight in our itinerary next year – getting us from one destination back to the country we are going to be spending most of our time. There really were no other options. And the price was becoming ridiculous. So I thank the airline and its patient staff, and now breathe a sigh of relief.
