I do love the feeling of a clean house – the satisfaction of a job well done, the anticipation of a visit (which is the best reason for a clean house), the freedom of knowing there’s nothing more to do. Sure, I had to work to get it all sorted, but at the end of the day, sitting down and looking around at a house in (relative) order is a delight. Not a daily one – I wish it was. But a delight when it comes, nonetheless.
