All of a sudden, I realised that I needed to do some seasonal shopping – not only Christmas shopping, but two important December birthdays (on the same day). I realised that I would need to have something to post and deliver, and that time was running out. Fortunately, I was saved by remembering that one of the December birthday girls would not be at home for some weeks, which was good because even if I posted something (which would already have too late, given they live in another country) it would be late. Now I’m taking it easy with her, and waiting to find the perfect thing. She can get it in the New Year.
So I set off to a nearby store, and found something I thought would be great for one couple close to me. I was pleased with that, because there was nothing else in the shop that was suitable. Shopping trip #1 successful! Phew.
