Clearing clouds

We drove further north today, into one of New Zealand’s favourite holiday locations. The rain stopped, the temperature rose, and things began to look up. We stopped for lunch, and I had the most divine shakshuka, with lentils in the tomato sauce, and on a delicious capsicum hummus. I was in heaven. Then we continued on, past beaches, pohutukawa in flower, to our destination on a beach. The clouds began to clear, and we sat on our deck with a drink, sighing in delight.
