I don’t like too much heat. It has been a long time since we lived in the tropics, and we have acclimatised back to Wellington’s very temperate climate, with a low tolerance for fluctuations either high or low. Still, the summery weather we have been having here and there over the last few weeks has made me happy, and today it was especially good, with little wind (just enough to keep from overheating, but not too much to prevent us opening windows or sitting outside). There’s something delightful about warm temperatures and a gentle breeze. Even more so when we know it’s going to be like that for a few days.
