The first Monday morning of the year when most people are back at work. Yay! It means most of the cafes are open again, and they won’t be quite so crowded with holidaymakers and locals taking their summer break. I popped out to do some errands, and took some time for a coffee and a pastry at a French bakery in lieu of breakfast. It was peaceful enjoying my coffee and reading a good book, something I don’t do often enough.
