Today we made new friends. Internet friends who have been reading each other’s blog from opposite sides of the world came together in my house last night. The weather was perfect, our view looked wonderful, and the conversation (like the delicious wine brought by our guests) flowed. Common interests (and careers) were found, advice was given, known commonalities were discussed, but only briefly. As I was getting ready this afternoon, I reflected whether it was unusual to be enthusiastic and not at all nervous about having strangers to stay? Perhaps. But it is a delight of these connections we make as we write and share our hearts across the internet.
