We went out to dinner with friends. We hadn’t seen two of them for a while, but it was as if we’d seen them yesterday. We have known this group since the 1980s when we all worked together, but with various transfers overseas and changes in employment, it hasn’t always been easy to see each other regularly. So it was an evening of delights – the joys of a Friday night, the pleasure of supporting an excellent neighbourhood restaurant, friendship and love, good food and wine, and commitments to see each other again soon!
