This week the Boxing Day (week) sales are on. Usually there are excellent bargains to be had, though there wasn’t much that we needed this year. But our electric jug (kettle) has not been turning off recently, and we knew it was time to replace it. We headed to a local store that almost always seems to have sales, but was offering rather more generous deals than usual. Found the jug that we wanted, although it wasn’t our preferred colour, it was one we can live with. And it was 50% off, which made us both happy.
